What is ABA?
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy is not a "one size fits all." ABA should not be viewed as a canned set of drills. Rather, each program is written to meet the needs of the individual learner. Our team improves the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families using these evidence-based practices.
How to Get Started
Scheduling an Evaluation
If you’re interested in receiving services for a child, relative, or dependent, please reach out to us at (951) 719-7050.
If you have IEHP coverage and would like to be referred to BBI, please call IEHP at (800) 440-4347. Once your referral is processed, our Board Certified Behavior Analyst will reach out to schedule an evaluation either in your home or via telehealth.
What to Expect
During the initial evaluation, called a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), you will provide information about the patient’s health, medical history, and the behaviors you wish to address. This first meeting will take approximately one to two hours.
Our Board Certified Behavior Analyst will use the information provided to write and submit a report. After the report is approved, your case will be staffed with a Supervisor and a Behavior Interventionist. Your Supervisor will meet with you to discuss the personalized programs designed to address the patient’s behaviors. Once you and your Behavior Interventionist set your weekly schedule, your case is ready to start!
